
A 16-year-old male patient, presented to the ENT clinic with bilateral nasal obstruction and diminution of vision for 4 months with gradual onset and progressive course. The condition is associated with headache but there is no history of projectile vomiting. Visual acuity has worsened over this period from bilateral counting fingers to bilateral no perception of light. There’s no history of epistaxis. Examination revealed reddish mass in the left nasal cavity. There are no other masses or lymphadenopathy. CT and MRI are shown below.
Answer: Chronic invasive fungal sinusitis.
